0700hrs – Pick up from your Nairobi area hotel or residence

Drive to the Hell’s gate national park with stops at view-points to marvel at the scenic Great rift valley escarpment. Hell’s Gate is one of Kenya’s smaller national parks, which can be explored on foot.

A game walk, bicycle ride or drive on your safari vehicle amid gracefully grazing gazelles, larger antelopes, Zebras and Giraffe is a delightful experience.
Our final park is a private game sanctuary where we’ll take a guided walking safari. Crescent Island Sanctuary boasts more animals per acre than any other park in Kenya. You are certain to trek by diverse herds of wildlife – wildebeest, waterbuck, zebra, giraffe and gazelle amongst them.
Hippos are also known to graze all about the island and you’re sure to spot pelicans, cormorants and fish eagles as well. The island is not fenced, and the animals are free to roam to and from the mainland… much like yourselves.

An early morning drive to Maasai Mara National Reserve, it holds on as one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed, in the numbers that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of Wildebeest, Zebras and attendant predators. Arrive in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive.

After the morning Breakfast at 6.30am, you will leave for a full day game drive with packed lunch.
The search for the great wild animals continues. On the plains are large herds of Herbivores grazing and cheetahs and leopards hiding in their locations. The Masai Mara is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. There have been some 95 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and over 400 birds species recorded on the reserve. Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, and it is for this reason a visitor hardly misses to see the big five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino). The midday meals will be at the picnic Mara River migration point. Later you will return to the lodge for dinner.

After breakfast, we have a full day game drive, with packed lunch provided. The reserve is well known for its black- manned lion, as well as its abundant resident wildlife and its one of the few places where it’s possible to see the big five during a morning’s game drive. Many of the cheetahs are so tame they seek shelter from the hot sun under one’s vehicle and several even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey. For the bird enthusiast, almost 500 species have been recorded: among these 16 species of eagle, plus many hawks and falcons, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks 4 of bustard (including the Kori bustard, the world’s heaviest flying bird), and 9 species of sunbirds.
