Our Safari adventure starts the Moment you land at Jomo Kenyatta international Airport, You will be met by our staff at the airport and transferred to Nairobi in the peaceful surrounds of our comfortable pre and post safari accommodation in any hotel in Nairobi which you will book by yourself. You can relax by the pool before your briefing with the Guides who will provide the essential information for the safari or you can decide to have a Nairobi City excursion on request

Itinerary

DAY 1:NAIROBI - SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVENAIROBI- SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE

You will be picked up from the airport or your hotel to the office for briefing, thereafter you will be driven north past the equator to the northern frontier district. Continue to the semi-arid Samburu National reserve and check in to your campsite in time for lunch. There will be time to settle in before your safari adventure. After having enough rest, you will set out for an afternoon game drive in the reserve. Return to the lodge before dark. Dinner in the Tented camp. Overnight at Samburu Tented camp.
Samburu National Reserve is situated about 350 kms north of Nairobi in the semi-arid part of Kenya. Ewaso Nyiro River, the only water source in the dry season, bisects the reserve and apart from providing water to life, the river is home to some of the biggest Reptiles in the region and attracts a good number of birds. Close to 300 different species have already been recorded.

DAY 2: SAMBURU NATIONAL PARK FULL DAYSAMBURU NATIONAL PARK FULL DAY

Early morning breakfast by 6.00am thereafter you will set out for an early morning game drive in the reserve. This is usually the most popular game viewing time. During the early hours temperatures are low, thus providing a favorable atmosphere both for the game and the viewer.
Lion, Cheetah and Leopard roam the vast grasslands in search for their next meal which includes but not limited to an unsuspecting impala or even a small one like the warthog…whatever the

players, the spectacle of nature unfolding is always inspiring! You’ll be back at the camp by 8.30am to enjoy your sumptuous breakfast.
Lunch in the camp at 12.30pm then its time at leisure to relax by the riverside watching crocodile. Afternoon game drive starts at 4.00pm. Return to the campsite before dark. Dinner in the camp at 7.30pm. Overnight at Samburu Tented cam.

DAY 3: SAMBURU - LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARKSAMBURU - LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

After early breakfast you depart for a morning game drive in the reserve, en-route to the gate. Drive towards the south to the equator for a brief stop. Here, the locals do a water demonstration to qualify the position of the equator. After the brief stop, drive to the Thompson falls for a photo-stop then down into the Great Rift Valley. As you ascend the eastern wall of the rift Valley, lush coffee and tea plantations reveal themselves and your driver-guide will give you a brief talk about coffee farming in Kenya. You check in at your hotel at 12.30pm and settle down for lunch. Afternoon game drive starts at 3.30pm. Dinner in the hotel restaurant at 7.30pm.

DAY 4: LAKE NAKURU - MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVELAKE NAKURU - MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

After full buffet breakfast in the camp you check out and drive via Narok town to Masai Mara National reserve, the land of the Masai tribe. The proud young Masai warrior-nomads with their plaited hair, red cloaks, and spears, challenge your curiosity. The 700-square-mile Game Reserve is the Africa of your dreams, complete with wild animals grazing amid the superb rolling and scape of gentle hills and acacia woodlands. Check in at your lodge. Lunch in the lodge at 12.30pm. There will be time to settle in before your first game drive. Afternoon game drive in the reserve starts at 4.00pm. Return to the camp before dark. Dinner in the Tented camp at 7.30pm.

DAY 5: MAASAI MARA NATIONAL PARK FULL DAYMAASAI MARA NATIONAL PARK

Wake up call. Breakfast will be served in the lodge. Set out for FULL DAY game drive in the reserve at 6.30am. This is usually the most popular game viewing time. During the early hours temperatures are low, thus providing a favorable atmosphere both for the game and the viewer. DAY 6: MAASAI MARA - LAKE NAIVASHA NATIONAL PARKMAASAI MARA - LAKE NAIVASHA NATIONAL PARK

Full buffet breakfast in the camp then check out and drive to Lake Naivasha where you will have your lunch enroute. After lunch in Mt Long’onot transit hotel you will go on with the drive to Lake Naivasha which is the only fresh water lake in Great Rift Valley.

DAY 7: HELL'S GATE NATIONAL PARK FULL DAYHELLSGATE NATIONAL PARK FULL DAY

You’ll be picked up from your camp to Hell’s Gate National Park. While Hell’s Gate is known primarily for its landscape, there are equally a number of animals within the park to be spotted. Buffalo and antelopes are especially common sights, and the park is also home to a variety of birds. There are no predators or dangerous large game in the park. Your day tour includes bicycle rental, and you’ll trade your safari vehicle for a bike to begin your journey through the park.
Don’t worry! Your car will drive behind you to ensure you’ve got a place to rest if you get too tired. Your first stop will be the spectacular Fisher’s Tower, where the adventurous can choose to ascend the 45m tower. Equipment can be rented on the spot, and all climb’s are guided by local professionals. From here, you’ve got a long but scenic ride to the famous Hell’s Gate Gorge – where you can walk and climb your way through the distinctive terrain that helped inspire Disney’s famous The Lion King.

DAY 8: LAKE NAIVASHA - AMBOSELILAKE NAIVASHA - AMBOSELI

You will take your early morning breakfast then you will be driven to the southern part of Kenya called Amboseli where you will pass the border of Kenya and Tanzania (note: please when you are passing to Amboseli National Park the visa is not needed because the park is on the side of Kenya.) You will arrive in the park in the late evening and the game drive enroute to your tented camp.
